Costa Brava Workshop with Marisa Papen

On the weekend 8/9 september when the tourists have returned home, Marisa Papen and I will host a workshop at the Costa Brava in Catalunya. Base Camp of the workshop will be at Sant Antoni de Calonge, next to Palamos and PLatja d’Aro.`

Model for the shoot wil be Marisa, and together with her we will do 2 daily fotosessions, one at sunrise and another one in the afternoon. During the daytime Mike will assist with tips concerning image treatment as well as during the shoot, where the participants will get tips on shooting angles, lighting and model direction. Marisa will pose in her personal well known style and can pose indepently.

There will also be an extra session on 7 september in the afternoon and one on the 10 september in the morning. Participants at the worksop can do 1 of these shoots, depending on when their flight arrives/leaves.

We will show you some of the nice beaches from the region, wich ones will be selected depending on weather and light.

Length of each session will depend on the number of participants so that everybody will get enough time to work with Marisa. Min. 1 hour, to max 2 hours per session. We will use the natural light and with Mikes experience shooting at the Costa Brava it will be possible to be at the right place at the right time, depending on the sun and weather.

Participants must be ok to walk 2/3 kilometers on rocky paths to reach some shooting locations, and leave somewhere around 6 am to the shooting location.

Lodging and transportation to and during the event is at your own charge.

There might be some possiblities to book other models prior,after or during the event for free work, Mike can provide some contacts for models in the region.

Price for the workshop will be 1200 euro VTA incl.

Upon confirmation of your reservation for the workshop, we will supply you with the back account number, after payment of 50% of the workshop fee your spot will be guaranteed and full payment needs to be done before beginning of the workshop.

There might be some changes in the planning due to unforeseen events or illness, and of course we can not foresee the weather. In case of bad weather shoots will be shorter, but we will always try to find the best possible solution.
